Managing and responding to reviews

Collecting reviews is only half the work. Customers read how a business replies, especially to criticism, and a thoughtful response can reassure future customers more than another five-star rating. The guides in this hub cover replying to reviews of every kind: thanking customers specifically rather than with a template, answering complaints calmly and in public, moving detailed disputes to a private channel, and knowing when a review breaks Google's policies and can be reported. They also explain how to organise replies across a team so that responses stay consistent and timely, and how to read patterns in feedback to find problems worth fixing. Treat each review as a conversation with the next customer as much as the last one, and the replies you write become part of your reputation.
